The SVAP online assemble tool reads four kinds of data format:
FASTA,
GFF,
PSL and
ECS.
If you do not known what we are talking about, please
refer to our DATA FORMAT GUIDE.
Users need to known that the PSL format gives less information than FASTA, GFF and ECS, such as if the transcripts has stand splice sites, length of polyA tail and reliable polyA signal, etc. And GFF and ECS can also takes transcript's expression tissue and organ information, which is useful for the isoform analysis.

NOTES: Since SVAP is focus on analysis of a gene cluster's variant event,
users should make sure that their input transcripts come from a same chromosome.
